What a summer it has been! From lunch and learns to concerts, zoo visits, and special events on campus hosted by our community partners, the fun has been packed into these hot days. As our summer winds to a close, we want to thank everyone who has made these experiences possible, some of which you'll read about below. Next week, it's back to school! More on that next month. We've also have some upcoming events and specific areas where the Home could use your help. Be sure to follow us on social media and check out our website for continued updates and stories on the happenings at the Home. |

Every day, our youth are working hard toward their goals. The community provides half of the Home's budget and resources - our mission would not be possible without you!
Here are some of the "wins" made possible last month: |
Our youth will be starting in five different schools this fall, and we have five seniors!
One young lady was accepted into Clinton College, where she will be attending starting this fall! Shout out to all of the companies that have hosted lunch & learn events for the youth over the summer! They have thoroughly enjoyed the many experiences, learning about all of the opportunities available, and meeting new people.
Each cottage has had the opportunity to prepare lunch once a week for the campus, learning valuable life skills along the way. Four more youth have been employed at local businesses!
Last month, our team worked together with the kids to host a talent show! Eight acts. Twelve future stars. The Home was graced with talent from across the country and around the world. Congrats to all of the participants who braved the stage!

Your support changes what's possible for these youth. Thank you! |

| It's prime heat time, and we are feeling it! Our HVAC units have been on the fritz. This summer alone, repairs and unit replacements have cost the Home over $17,000! While we plan for the unexpected, these bills were higher than anticipated. Will you help keep our kids and teammates cool making a donation? |
|
|
Thank you for any additional support you can give! |
|
|
Join the Home's second Topgolf Tournament to drive hope and healing for youth and families in need! Enjoy 3 hours of Topgolf and conversation, chips & queso, the Fajita bar, drinks, and music and games on the terrace. Throughout the evening, you will have opportunities to learn more about the young lives you are impacting and how you can continue to provide nurturing care and life-changing services to youth and families in need. |

Summer is a busy time on our campus – many youth are working a variety of jobs and schedules with others staying at home, working on their goals and enjoying the summer. This week, Dr. Joshua shares a fun activity that brought some summer fun for our youth...

Youth who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless stay in the shadows. Unlike the stereotype many hold for "homeless", these youth work to blend in, hiding their true needs from those around them for fear of judgment or to simply protect themselves. Not only can you help by sharing that youth homelessness is a problem in our own community, you can help youth find help, home, and hope! |
