Children’s Attention Home is hosting a brand new event – Fore the Children. Help raise vital support to launch the Home’s next 50 years of providing love and care to the children of our community.

Tournament Play
The tournament will feature:
- LIVE LEADERBOARD! Using Golf Status app, teams will have access to real-time score updates.
- Longest Drive & Closest to the Pin contests
- 50/50 Raffle & Basket Raffle
- Prizes for top 3 team finishers and top contest winners
Golfers will enjoy a tournament swag bag, breakfast from Bojangles and a boxed lunch from Famous Toastery, unlimited sodas, waters, snacks, and (2) beer tickets

Community Picnic
Don’t play golf? Non-golfers can have fun too! A community picnic will be held as the tournament winds down from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Guests can take part in:
- Putting & chipping contests
- Basket raffle & 50/50 raffle
- Music & yard games
- Enjoy a boxed lunch from Famous Toastery with drinks
Guests must RSVP by Monday, April 26 to attend and should plan to bring your own chairs or picnic blanket. With your registration, we ask that you consider making a donation to support the work of the Children’s Attention Home.

Think about your life. Who helped you get where you are today? Was there someone who mentored you? Did you have family or friends in that you could call when you got in a bind? Who had your back? Many of kids don’t have that person, much less people. They don’t know who to call when they need advice for what comes next, how to figure out that situation, or when things begin to fall apart. They have no one to depend on – no one looking out for them.
With your support, the Children’s Attention Home surrounds them with people who love and care for them. Staff, volunteers, and donors all step in the gap to make sure the children at the Home get the loving, compassionate care they deserve and provide them with all the tools they need to begin their path to independence.

Think back to your childhood. How did your story begin?
For our children living at the Home, their stories began with disappointment and heartbreak. Every day, they are ashamed to go to school in the same dirty clothes they wore yesterday. They are anxious when their mom’s new boyfriend is around, not knowing what will happen once she leaves. They are scared because they don’t know who is coming home that night, what they are going to eat, or where they will sleep. Without someone to step in, their story is on the path of hopelessness and darkness.
With your support, the Children’s Attention Home can empower each child to change their story. Through working with children individually to meet their needs, the Home equips each child to be their own catalyst of change. The dedicated team at the Home gives these children loving, compassionate care and provides them with all the tools they need to begin a path towards a successful future – life skill training, social and personal development, educational support, vocational training, and so much more. Your support helps the Home provide care that does not just keep these children alive, but helps them thrive.
