The Board of Directors at the Children’s Attention Home accepts applications throughout the year with nominations considered in the fall. The Home also has openings in select board committees for community members to volunteer their time as a non-voting member. Interested in serving on the Board of Directors at Children’s Attention Home?

Are you looking for a leadership opportunity that matches your passion for serving? We are currently accepting applications for the 2024-2026 term (begins in January) for the Children’s Attention Home Board of Directors. Our Board aims to reflect the diversity of the population served at the Home and community we serve. We seek to broaden the board’s collective skills, expertise, and life experiences to effectively deliver on our mission. Specific areas the Board is seeking to expand are:

• Lived experience
• Fundraising & development
• Technology
• Human resources

Service on the Children’s Attention Home Board of Directors includes the following responsibilities:

• Serve a three-year board term
• Attend bi-monthly meetings (days of the week and time of day may vary)
• Serve on a minimum of one board committee and participate in bi-monthly committee meetings
• Attend Children’s Attention Home events as an ambassador and representative for the Home and the Board of Directors
• Make an annual financial gift to the Children’s Attention Home

The Board Development Committee reviews all applications and selects nominees. If nominated, you will be contacted by a member of our Board Development Committee. If not selected for nomination, your application will be kept in consideration for future nominations.
