November Support

The Children’s Attention Home saw a surge in support from local foundations and charities during November. We are proud to announce the following awards, made possible by the amazing generosity of the community:

Bi Lo Charities provided $5,000 for our Healthy Snack Program, which will provide each child three healthy snacks per day and nutrition education, ensuring a campus full of healthy snackers!

Speedway Children’s Charities has awarded $10,000 to provide food to our residents! This money will help provide a healthier selection of lean meats, whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, and healthy diary for our residents to meet USDA guidelines.

Walmart Foundation awarded $30,000 to the Home’s Food Service Program.

The Springs Close Foundation awarded $35,000 to support our residents’ basic needs. These funds will help provide food, clothing, and shelter to residents from York, Chester, and Lancaster counties!

The Chester Healthcare Foundation has provided $15,000 during their Fall cycle to support our shelter and transportation program!

These funds are absolutely critical to the ongoing operations of the Home. The support from these wonderful foundations is truly a reflection of the hard work of our staff and the promise we make the community: we will love and protect South Carolina’s most vulnerable children.

As we come to the end of the month, we would like to give our most sincere thanks to the individuals, foundations, businesses, churches, and groups that have supported us this year. Together, we have truly changed children’s lives.
